"Excellent stay at the Rustic Retreat! The property was secluded and private. The home was spacious with a lovely window wall overlooking the yard. Frances was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the stay. "

"Owner was very responsive to questions. All info was laid out ahead of time and also in a small binder. The whole place was labeled for our benefit. Beds were comfortable. 2nd floor bedrooms did get hot at night because of having an infant the door needed to be shut, otherwise very comfortable for our end of July early August stay. We Kayaked from up river and stopped at our house, do not use any floatation device that does not have a fabric liner. Lost 2 on our trip. But it was a good river to kayak on. Extra fridge in the basement was helpful for our sofa living family. Iron Fish Distillery was a nice short ride for the younger adults in our group, and enjoyable!"

"The location was very remote (which I loved!), the cabin was beautiful, and incredibly clean. However, the amenities were not accurate. I booked this place for my bachelor party, which included a LAN party. One of the games we planned on playing required internet. However, tue "internet" is a mobile router that carried internet through cell signal. The issue was that with how remote the location is, there was no cell signal. Which means there is no internet. This made me unable to do a core part of my bachelor party, and meant my friends were not able to comolete their remote work that needed done. I paid for Wi-Fi access, and was sorely dissapointed with the lack of it. Otherwise, it's a beautiful location. "
