"This property is a must stay! The house is well equipped for all ages and has space for even large groups. The owner provides kayaks for use, along with many other outdoor activities. The river access is easy and is shallow enough to enjoy wading or floating. It was perfect for our summer vacation but we could see how a winter getaway would be equally enjoyable!"

"Very beautiful and unique rental. Well stocked with everything we needed for our stay (besides food). We absolutely loved staying here. Very spacious; we had 10 people in our party and it never felt cramped. Even had family over for a cookout one day and there was still plenty of room. Great location. Not far from the Bear Lake or Lake Michigan. Would absolutely recommend staying here."

"We loved the Betsie River Bungalow! Our family of four had more than enough room for the long weekend and the house was well appointed and well stocked. We really enjoyed the nice touches like the riverside fire pit and Adirondack chairs. We didn’t end up using the kayaks at the house because we opted for a longer excursion on the Platte River instead, but we did spend a lot of time in and around the river at the property. We fished and explored the riverbanks. We even saw a river otter! It’s very private and quiet at the river. So peaceful! We had a good dinner at the very nearby Iron Fish Distillery (literally walking distance). We also golfed at Crystal Mountain Resort, just a few minutes drive away, and had an excellent dinner at their Scottish grille called The Thistle. Tom was a fantastic host and the communication was great. He really went above and beyond for us. We would love to stay again in the future. It’s truly a gem of a property. Thanks for having us, Tom and Jen!"

"This house was perfect for our extended family. Plenty of sleeping space and lots to do around the property. We really enjoyed using the kayaks on the Betsy river. Lake Michigan was a short drive away. (30 minutes)"
