"This clean riverfront rental provides a peaceful getaway with a private hot tub and included canoe use right from the backyard. Soaking in the hot tub under the stars was a treat and the highlight of our trip. Launching the canoe for a morning paddle from the property was a wonderful way to start the day. The host was responsive and made check-in simple."

"Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our weekend stay at this cute little house. It was just the right amount of room for the two of us. We enjoyed eating outside on the little porch! The location was a bit remote, but it worked for us to get to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Old Mission Peninsula. I would suggest that you have either the porch light or string lights come on at dusk. We arrived in the dark, and it was pitch black on the property. Also, we did not enjoy the shower curtain liner that was at least 2 feet longer than it should have been. It was like trying to shower with a huge wedding dress at your feet. :) Several windows were unlocked when we arrived which I didn't like. When I arrive at a VRBO, I don't want to have to go around checking security items. There were some cleaning issues I noticed as well - a good bit of build up around the faucet in the bathroom, dirty fridge, and a fake plant on the wall had a large spider web in it. These were minor items, and we would stay here again!"

"Awesome house and hosts!! It was spotless and had everything you could need. The coffee maker wasn’t working and one was delivered the same day. We had a fire by the peaceful river all 3 nights. It’s a bit harder walking back up so keep that in mind if you have elderly people coming."

"We needed a cabin by the river to decompress from a busy tourist season (we are locals) and this was just far enough away, and just enough river and woods. Enough space to have the family over for a cookout, and a cozy screened in porch for coffee and dessert with them afterwards. The bench by the river is the best place for morning coffee."

"This was a Beautiful home on a gorgeous piece of property!! It was very clean and well maintained ! Had everything we needed to have a fun and relaxing week-end! The kids stayed busy and the adults had plenty to do too! Lots to see and do!! Thank you for a great place to go as a large family!!"
