"A fantastic unmanned property with ample of parking. Whilst unmanned, they responded to our question promptly. The whole family room with 4 x beddings were spacious for our family of 5 (primary school age children to baby) to move around and to sleep. The projection with games was a hit with the older kids & the baby loved having her own space on the couch. And the bathroom was amazing. So glad we picked this place for our 1st leg of the Kyushu trip. "

"We love the decor. I was blessed to run into an older woman who showed me some of the phongraphs and music boxes in the lobby. They have an old Toyota car out front that is beautiful. The coffee area was a nice place to take a break and read. We stayed in the traditional room which had tatami mats and futons. The air conditioning worked great fighting the Kyushu humid summer. The only drawback was the water pressure. Overall it was low and I think they rely on the hot spring for water so it takes a while for the water to warm."

The rooftop onsen is small but great for relaxing your muscles after a long day of walking. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfasts I’ve had, there are plenty of options to choose from. The staff were very helpful, they helped me figure out my luggage shipment."

Great location in Karatsu, within a 5 minute walk to the train station and on a great pedestrianised street full of great shops (mainly with pottery goods). Would totally recommend."
