"We had a lovely stay in the Villa, it was mostly as described (except I explicitly asked if there were three double beds and assured there were, there wasn’t, there are two double beds). It had a few extras like foosball and ping pong tables plus balls for the pool. The facilities were great and the host was really lovely. "This place is truly spectacular! We can't fault it. 'Spotlessly clean, gorgeous house and gardens, huge pool with pool lights. Tranquil surroundings. Highly efficient communication with both Frida (caretaker) and Jean Marc (owner). Lots to do and see in the area, but we didn't want to go out too much it was so beautiful! Naples is an easy train ride away and we loved the Tiberius cave at Sperlonga. We didn't want to leave!"

"We had a wonderful family holiday here. Beautiful, spacious villa in 2 parts with wonderful views of the surrounding hills as well as out to sea. Coming from Rome by car the villa is best accessed by going through Fondi then Itri. The final few kilometres are via a fairly narrow road and then finally along a single track. Itri is the closest town for supplies and that is about a 10 minute drive. It isn’t possible to walk to any local shops. Larger supermarkets are within a 30 minute drive in...

It is well placed for the coast, but also for small inland towns and villages which give the authentic Italian experience. "My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay in Formia. The beach is superb and the location is good for exploring Lazio and Campania by car. The property is comfortable and well equipped and Valeria, the host, is most attentive and helpful. Formia, itself, is an interesting town but visits to Naples, Amalfi, Sorrento, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Casserta and Gaeta are all possible and worth doing. Taking the train from Formia to Naples is a recommendation rather than using the car."

"The villa was great especially the pool area which we all enjoyed immensely. Unfortunately the area outside the gated area is dire. Little or no local amenities and the street was dirty and most buildings were abandoned. The blurb for the property was changed recently to state that a car was needed and had i seen that I wouldn't of booked as none of our party wanted to drive. Beach was good and the staff at local Lido were great. Again villa fab but location awful. Such a shame!"

"Wonderful Host. Luciana was extremely helpful. the home is located in a private gated subdivision, on a hill. It is completely equipped with dishes, utensils, dish, washer and a washing machine. has a private gate and a huge yard. At first the 6 km winding road from the town of Sperlonga to the house was a bit challenging but the view was spectacular. It was very good for my family of 7 due to privacy and able to rest away from the noise of the downtown. There is no air conditioning, so we had...

"Das Haus und das Interieur sind schon etwas älter, aber mit schönem Seeblick und von einem tollen Park umgeben. Zum Meer, das man vom Grundstück nicht sehen kann, sind es ein bis zwei Minuten. Die Umgebung wirkt nicht sehr gepflegt, das Haus befindet sich am Ende einer Sackgasse. Es gibt drei Zimmer, eins ist unbeheizt, die anderen beiden werden mit den Klimaanlagen schnell warm (wir waren Ende März / Anfang April da). In der Küche und den beiden sehr kleinen Bädern (nix für große Menschen)...

"A spectacular plot perched up on the hills with 360 views of the national park and sea. It’s a 10mins drive from Sperlonga but also we used the villa as a base to do day trips to Roma and Napoli. The villa was lovely, clean and comfortable. The kids spent most of the time in the fantastic pool. The owner is friendly, very helpful and responsive."

"Clean and functional apartment as shown in the pictures, literally less than 5 min walk to the beach. Core services are also very close, small grocery store(s), restaurants and cafes. Short drives for more services (Lidl ~15mins). Overall, great value for money. Our host, Maria, was great leading to our arrival and during the stay, communicating on whatsApp and providing info. The rental came with a local parking pass for free street parking, which was handy."
