"It's an older motel, but don't judge the motel by it's cover. The people I had contact with sere wonderful. The room clean and quiet. However, there is no phone in the room or the bathroom shampoo, lotion, etc. that you normally expect to find. I had to go ask for a hair dryer. Their continental breakfast is what you would expect too; the usual packaged pastry products & coffee. Considering how expensive lodging is in that area, it was a good choice for me. I can live without the extra frills."

"The house was clean, comfortable beds, very spacious. We loved the single level - my parents in their late 80s were able to visit with ease and the toddler grandchildren could run around without worry of stairs. We even grilled on the beautiful deck. The property was lovely- we really enjoyed our stay!"

"The house was everything I thought it would be. Comfortable furniture and the kitchen had all the updated appliances. They all looked brand new. I'll definitely be staying there on future trips to the Iron Range. 5 Stars all the way around."

"The hotel appears to be undergoing renovations. Accommodations are pretty basic at the moment. There is no elevator, so luggage had to be carried up and down stairs. The room was clean and comfortable, but there was insufficient light (one tiny bedside lamp in the bedroom) and not enough plugs available. The location is convenient enough and the staff were friendly."
