Excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the AC not working our first night that after not being able to resolve they brought us a fan that helped so much. The entire building was out but they got it working quickly. The area is quiet and safe. Quick walk to stadium and some sights. Not many places to eat that are open later but delivery was great. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was good.

I was in town for a funeral, and the weather was unusually bad. The staff managed to make these unrelated events happier for me. Melina at reception always upbeat, attentive and was able to accommodate my early arrival, even placed me in a room with a view. The dining area manager George was easygoing and funny. Maintenance staff were also great. The Tru is a bit away from more central Minneapolis amenities, but all you'd want in a simple room- tidy, quiet, and comfortable. They made a difficult time for me much easier and pleasant.

Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the pool table in the lobby, a fun thing to do at no extra cost. The hotel's valet parking was extremely expensive, so we opted to walk a few blocks and park in a city ramp. Saved us $40!
