Mini-Europe

Hundreds of replicas of Europe’s most famous attractions can be found at this amusement park located beneath the Atomium.

Walk between the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Berlin Wall at this definitive collection of miniature attractions of Europe. Since 1989, the Mini-Europe miniature park has invested millions of dollars and thousands of hours into painstakingly replicating the most iconic attractions in the European Union.

Over 80 cities are represented, with 350 models in total. Interactive models operate throughout the park, including an erupting Mount Vesuvius and various modes of transportation that zip across the terrain. Mini-Europe is an excellent family outing, appealing to both adults and children.

Admire the detail included in each model as you travel through the park. Made from resin, polyester or stone, each model is created from a cast and then painted before decorations and lighting are fitted at the park. Miniature only by name, each replica is approximately 1/25 of the original, and remains large enough to see detailed carvings and external decor. Hear the chimes of Big Ben or the mandolins of Venice. Sit next to the bubbling creeks that run past the monuments while you survey all of Europe.

A visit to Mini-Europe is a great way to acquaint yourself with the architectural movements of Europe. While nothing compares to seeing the originals, the ability to move from the Roman architecture of Italy to the gothic masterpieces of Hungary and the Czech Republic is fascinating. The models are clearly sign-posted with a wealth of historical knowledge to discover about each attraction.

Take fun photos of yourself as you stand tall next to the 12-foot (four-meter) Eiffel Tower or dwarf Barcelona’s Christopher Columbus monument. When you’re hungry, have a snack at the park’s European Tavern.

Mini-Europe is located beneath the Atomium, and can be reached by car or metro. There is no onsite parking however, the streets surrounding the area provide parking for a fee. Mini-Europe is open daily and there is a small fee for admission.
