Features: 2 king-size beds (1 ensuite bath/shower), twin room, accessible shower wet room. 3-acre garden setting, 5-min drive from Minehead. Offers: 4-star accommodation. Accepts up to 2 dogs. Wheelchair accessible with shower wet room. Main Description Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of our four-bedroom disabled-access Lodge, nestled within the scenic boundaries of Exmoor. This spacious accommodation provides: Bedrooms: Two king-size doubles (one with an ensuite), one twin room. Facilities: An accessible shower wet room, wheelchair accessible and impressive views overlooking Exmoor and down to the sea. Location: Peacefully situated on a quiet lane, surrounded by a 3-acre garden, yet a mere five-minute drive from Minehead's vibrant shops, pubs, and seafront. Amenities Include: Four-star self-catering holiday homes. Breath taking south-facing views of Exmoor National Park. A short 1.5-mile journey to the seafront and sandy beach. Leisurely 20-minute walk to local shops, pubs, and eateries. On-site games room, putting green, swings. Up to 2 dogs accepted £20 per week per dog. Owners available on-site for guidance and assistance. Complimentary Wi-Fi across all accommodations and ample parking. Close proximity to walking trails, fishing spots, horse riding facilities, and the Steam Railway. Guest Access: The Lodge boasts M2 access ratings, ensuring wheelchair accessibility to most areas, excluding the en suite bathroom and bunk bedded room. Booking Information: Short Breaks: Weekend: Friday to Monday. Weekday: Monday to Friday (stay four nights for the price of three). Linen: Provided for beds. Please note that this is the same property as Holly Lodge 4 bedroom, but the bunk room and main bathroom are blocked off. Indoor Description This has not been completed by the owner. Outdoor Description The Lodge is a distance from the other Lodges with a small lawn. Guests have complete access to the expansive three-acre gardens, a children's play area, a games room, a putting green, and a laundry room. In the laundry room, you'll find local information and a selection of guided walks that start right from our property's gate. Parking This has not been completed by the owner. Pets Description We do limit the number of dogs per Lodge to two (£20.00 per dog per visit) and ask our guests to acknowledge the privilege of being able to bring their dogs by agreeing to certain rules. These are geared to respecting other guests ability to enjoy their own holidays, protecting children on site and being able to leave the accommodation in a state to be able to be enjoyed by future guests. We ask that Dogs are kept on leads on site and are kept quiet and under control so as not to disturb other guests. We have gates on our Lodge verandas to allow dogs to move around when in the Lodge but please do not let them on the furniture and keep them out of the bedrooms. Please do not leave dogs on their own in the accommodation. Please used the dog walk area for the necessary and place any mess in the bin supplied, there are often children on site and no one would like them standing in something awful! Restricted mobility M2 rated, Ramped access, shower wet room with shower wheelchair provided. Exit in case of emergency Exit through main door or from side door or in worst case out of fully opening ground floor windows. Christmas / New Year We normally provide some holly around the Lodge otherwise expect guests to bring their own The region Minehead is the largest town on the edge of Exmoor National Park, a welcoming seaside resort on the Somerset coast with stunning views across the Bristol Channel to Wales. The town is best known as the starting point of the South West Coast Path, England's longest National Trail, which stretches 630 miles from the harbour here all the way to Poole Harbour in Dorset. A sculpture marking Mile Zero stands on the seafront near the old harbour. Minehead has been a working port since the 14th century, and the quay area retains much of its historic charm with narrow lanes and fishermen's cottages clustered at the foot of North Hill. Higher Town, the oldest part of Minehead, sits on the slopes above the harbour and is home to the medieval Church of St Michael, reached by a steep footpath known as Church Steps that winds between thatched cottages with far-reaching views over the rooftops and out to sea. The Parade and The Avenue form the main shopping streets, where you will find independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and takeaways alongside everyday services. Tesco and Morrisons supermarkets are both on the outskirts of town with long opening hours, and there are banks, a Post Office, pharmacies, and petrol stations. Blenheim Gardens, opened in 1925, provides six acres of green space in the centre of town with a bandstand, putting green, bowling green, and a pleasant cafe. The medieval village of Dunster, with its castle, yarn market, and tea rooms, is barely two miles away.
