Minakami Onsen was a sleepy small town surrounded by mountains. As a tourist it was nice to see the other sife of Japan, not only large cities. The room is exquisitely furnished that comes with private onsen in the balcony. Love it! All the hotel rooms overlook a river and the train track. We can see the trains passing occasionally. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner. This hotel was only opened in Nov 22, well kept with auto checking in and checking out. They provide shuttle bus to station at 9.15/10.15 in the morning and pick up services at Jomokagen station at 14:55/15:55 hours. Overall, v happy to have chosen this hotel. The location is so convenient. We were able to walk from Minakami station the hotel in 15 mins. They offer drop off at Jomo-Kogen station on the check out day. The front desk ladies are super nice and friendly. They did their best help me, answered my questions. Specially Urada (not sure if i spell it correctly)- She looks like a non-Japanese. She always smile when she see us and tried all her best to answer all my questions about food to skin cares. I think she is the one has better English than the others. The manager should give her a raise. The room is so clean and look new. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed every minute there. The food was good and a lot. We even skipped lunch, because the Japanese style breakfast was a lot. The hotel is close/walking distance to Family Mart and cute small coffee shops, handmade bread store. I tried the massage at the hotel. They come to your room. It was so relaxing. The room view was so nice.
