The only thing we didn't like is that the water from the tap was labelled no drinkable but there was only one small bottle of water per person which wasn't adequate. There was tea and coffee facilities but no water for it so we left early. Would stay again but next time bring some extra water.

We had a great stay at The Woburn, and very fortunate to enjoy an upgrade as we were there for a celebration. Everything was immaculately clean, and even though the outside temperature had dropped significantly the room and hotel itself was sufficiently warm. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit and I had warm and friendly welcome from. reception staff. The room was large with a comfortable bed and great shower and lots of choice on the tea and coffee tray. My only small complaint was that some of the dusting had been overlooked. There was thick dust around the TV, and on the lamps, but apart from that it was a really great room. The food in the restaurant was amazing, genuinely one of the best meals I have ever had, and the service was fantastic.

Room value, service and booking was good. However the prepaid breakfast was extremely poor value, had limited choice with items running out and not heing refilled. I have been a regular customer of brunch at the hotel using their a la carte menu, which has always been good. However the prepaid breakfast as my.first time as a staying hotel guest was not the experience i expected. It did not warrant the £18 per guest i paid. Choices were limited, items were in short or no supply and poached eggs were undercooked and cold. It has spoilt my impression of the hotel and i hope they will find a way to recover my custom in the future.

Bed was a little uncomfortable, but this was made up for by the quality of food in the restaurant and overall ambiance of the property and its superb location. We recently stayed at The Woburn Hotel (Luxury Cottage) and unfortunately it did not meet expectations. The staff, bar and food were all very good. However, the issue was with the accommodation itself. When booking, the photos on Expedia gave the impression that the cottages had similar features, particularly the room with the freestanding bath at the end of the bed. It is not made clear that there are multiple different cottages with completely different layouts, so we reasonably believed the photos were of the same cottage. The room we received was very different from what the images suggest. The overall condition of the cottage was also disappointing. It felt quite outdated, slightly dingy, and not particularly clean or well maintained — not what we expected from a “Luxury Cottage”. The bathroom was the worst part, with visible rust, limescale, mould, dirt and marks on the bath. It did not feel clean or well looked after. We raised this at checkout and also through Expedia. Expedia have been helpful, but the hotel has ignored all communication from both us and Expedia, which is very disappointing. We are simply seeking a partial refund and acknowledgement, but due to the lack of response, we would not recommend based on this experience.

Hotel is really lovely, fantastic location. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful but so hot unfortunately if you opened the window you got the giant kitchen extractor fan blowing into the room. Other than that great place to stay
