Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room/bed comfortable. Slept well. Tea/coffee/biscuits in room was nice. Hot water. Tasty food, nice and hot. Nice menu. Hotel a little tired but price reflects this I feel. Dinner portion was small, really delicious but left hungry.

Clean room, excellent value for money, lovely venue and helpful staff who were attentive and ensured efficient service was delivered. Recommend this beautiful hotel for location also, a very nice setting indeed.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but totally functional, plenty of tea/coffee etc and toiletries. Bed very comfy. I had ordered a continental breakfast, which was ok, mini croissants and pain au chocolat, usual array of cereals, ham and cheese, could have been slightly more inventive (or bigger selection), the overnight oats with fruit compote was very tasty. The restaurant had a good selection of dishes, reasonably priced. Excellent location for me as I was at an event at Flitwick so only ten minutes drive way set in a very pretty village. Would definitely consider staying again if I was in the locality.

The hotel staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The common areas of the hotel were maintained to a basic level but require investment. The rooms although spacious were in my opinion poorly maintained (shoddy repairs and decoration). The curtains are badly maintained/fitted, soft furnishings require attention (torn fraying cushion). Frayed/short carpet refitted poorly after repair or redecoration? The bathroom tiles have stained grout and mould to many areas. Repairs to tiling and decoration are below average. The bathroom sink had accumulated debris around perimeter behind taps (not difficult to see or reach) just not cleaned in a while! The bath/shower was not easily accessible and without any handhold points. Overall lacked basic quality control.
