Milford on Sea Beach

The main house bedrooms are so hot! No air con and even with a fan it was over 30c in the room with window open! Ok seasonally hot for UK but this is not new. The building is just old and hot, so be prepared!!

We had 3 rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were nice but a little on the smaller side for a double. All the rooms had slightly different arrangement. Two of the rooms had a shower in the bath and for some reason one of the rooms baths didn’t drain well, we informed the hotel but they were unable to sort the problem during the stay. We had a birthday celebration and eat in the hotel. Some of the food was excellent however it was not consistent across the meal. The tuna tartar was poor, 5 of us had it. We felt it was bland with little flavour. The Fish & Chips was nice although the chips were dry. My daughter loved her meal, she had the lamb. It a lovely old hotel and we generally enjoy the decor and travelling in the old lift. We would go back due to its location and generally charm. The staff are very nice although for some reason it doesn’t operate like a well oiled machine!

Lovely hotel in an amazing location. Very clean and comfortable. Staff are amazing and breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay here again.
