Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We end up not staying there for a number of reasons.
First of all, the place is located on the middle of a run down village. We had difficult time locating the property and once we found it there were only keys for the house, but not for the gate to drive in. We end up parking by the neighbors house. The entire village came out trying to help us locate the parking, let us use WIFI since we had no connection at all. I have to say, people were very friendly. One local family warned us about drug activities and crazy people in the area. Major turn off was stuffy smell, NO A/C and tiny spiral staircase leading from the kitchen to the bedrooms on the second floor. We opened windows to air it out, but had to shut it back to prevent bugs and mosquitos getting in. We couldn’t get our luggage up the stairs. Outside two orange chairs were filthy, so we couldn’t enjoy the view of the river ( no lake views that you see in the pictures) We couldn’t wait to get out of the house and left without having any alternative options. We reached out to the host and asked for a refund, but didn’t get it. I would advise you to stay away from this rental.
