Ahh La Rampina, The exotic motorway off road leading up to the hotel really sets off the secure fencing and gas storage tank in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is a normal building with restaurant and external staircase leading to the rooms. The room needs some decorating and a good scrub but had the beds needed for our stay visiting the city centre. The bathroom was graced with unknown goo in the corner of the shower that was better left untouched. The local metro station is a short walk giving easy access to the centre of Milan for €1.90 each way. However special mention is required for the entrance way tiles, relentlessly moped to appear like the terracotta tiles of a quaint Tucson village.
