The weather was wet and cold so we made full use of the warm and comfortable cottage. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds were comfortable. The cottage exceeded our expectations, it is very homely, comfortable, clean, beautifully furnished and the perfect place to stay. It has a well equipped kitchen if self-catering. It is situated in a lovely setting with beautiful views of the countryside and ideal for exploring the South Downs. Arundel is only a short drive away and we did a lovely walk to East Dean ( please note pub there is closed!) Although we didn’t meet Bridget, she communicated promptly and friendly.
