"We stayed one night to break a journey. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed a good swim in the lovely pool.The breakfast was good. It's a shame that the building is looking somewhat tired but understandable with today's costs."

"What a lovely hotel, everything was excellent. The only issue we had was being told by 2 members of staff that the kitchen closed at 9pm but when i went down to place a food order at 8.45pm i was told the kitchen had already closed at 8.30pm as it was a Sunday. Breakfast was fantastic and an added bonus as included within the price. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area."

"No air conditioner when hot summer is handy. Bar have to clean copper pipes and filters in beer taps as beer have bitter taste. On breakfast nice to have not only scrambled eggs nice to have planted eggs. And also is good make sound proof walls as I can hear snoring from next room. And smart tv who can connect to android mirror screen of phone"

"Reception staff helpful and polite nothing too much trouble. Bedrooms spacious and clean. Bed comfortable, shower powerful. Good food in hotel restaurant with good deals. Happy hours on Bar. Hotel stone throw away from Merry Hill shopping centre. Bar nightlife across the bridge from hotel. Will be re booking this hotel again"

"The room was very clean and towels were changed daily. Staff were welcoming especially the lady who served breakfast who despite being extremely busy went out of her way to help. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice with the Continental and Cooked breakfast. Thought drinks at the bar were expensive."
