"As a Platinum member they made no provision for my arrival or benefits offered by Expedia. I could not book the speciality restaurant in advance and could not check in, in advance. When arriving only one restaurant was available with space. I had to take it or continue eating at the buffet every night. Not what you expect when spending considerably money. No recognition of my Platinum status. The hotel food meat was very dry. Some meats were so dry it was not possible to eat. I would recommend that Platinum Expedia customers who expect good service and Platinum benefits keep well clear of this hotel. No entertainment after an evening meal past 9pm. Not even music in the lobby. No offer of an upgrade even though the hotel was almost empty. Guests and staff shared the only working elevator between 7 floors. The sauna was advertised but on arrival not avaialble and out of service. One of the main reasons for booking the hotel. There was no alternative luxury offered. A very disappointing experience when there are many other hotels available. In my view a total waste of time, effort and money. "

"This has the potential to be five star rated but unfortunately during my very short stay there was construction happening and i dont feel i was able to experience/enjoy all the amenities. Also, there were only had a handful (literally) of guest, including myself, which made it somewhat of a weird feeling - if you go with a group this would be most excellent for y'all. All the staff were friendly and extremely accommodating and the food that we ordered (escovich fish, jerk chicken, Jamaican breakfast) were all excellent. We also had a little live entertainment which was nice. I honestly wouldn't mind returning after all the reconstruction is complete and see how it all turns out. "

"Spacious clean air conditioned room. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Grounds of the property were clean and perfectly maintained. Free shuttle to the private beach. Ambience at dinner in the evenings was superb 👌. "

"This hotel was not as Jamaican friendly/ catered much for authentic Jamaicans based on my experience. As an authentic Jamaican back home to vacation , the food was trash! Unfortunately that is what I was looking forward to the most. The beef served one of those nights was so tough, oh my gosh! Customer service for the most part was good. A young lady by the vegetarian bar was rude one day, not in what she said, but with her tone, and mannerism. It is good that the hotel has many activities planned daily, some of which I did enjoy. However, night life is mostly catered for the older population. This destination is for older white caucasians. There are a few restaurants on this property which my partner and I did sign up for: the only one we tried was the one in the sea( not remembering the name), nothing great about the food, and I felt this dining was rushed, so we just wasn’t interested in trying the others. I had hair services done here, ridiculously expensive, not worth it, well wasn’t for me! Maybe if your Caucasian it will be though, I observed they use their more skilled people to facilitate those requests. Five stars to housekeeping, checking in /out service, dance class team, ladies whom did the massage, front desk ladies at the spa…. that nice lady whom took the extra time to see if my partner and I wanted the massage done together as it was booked separately. "

"Great property with spacious living area, updated kitchen, two bedroom and two bathrooms. The pools are just a few steps off of balcony of this ground floor ocean front unit. Host was very accomodating and communicative throughout our stay."
