Chalets in Michigan

"I thought the hotel had a very open and airy feel to it. The room was very nice with very nice bedding and carpet. I thought the nice touches were the lighted mirror (I've never seen that before), the coffee maker with single trays of coffee grounds, the cool ice maker and filtered water in the hallways, two waters. I liked the workout room and would have done the free weights but there were only a few lighter weights to choose from as the rest were very heavy for me. It was a very clean hotel! I did crave some coffee but there were no carafes out and the coffee shop was not open. "

"The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The lake view and beach access are fantastic. We would have loved to have used our awesome lake view balcony, unfortunately it was covered in webs and spiders and dead bugs. The railings, the outdoor furniture, the lights, the walls. We took an inside chair outside to sit in and lasted 5 minutes before a spider was dangling in front of us. That was a huge disappointment. "

"Staff were very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was not very good. The boiled eggs were several days old, only one choice of milk, etc. There also was no public refrigerator available which is important when there are none in the rooms, especially for nursing moms or those who have medicines that need refrigeration. "
