"The host was always very quick to respond to questions/concerns. The home is exactly as described, and it was very clean and comfortable. Our taxi driver from the airport was not able to find the address so he eventually dropped us off at a family member's apartment. The host went out of his way to come pick us up so we would not need to pay for another taxi. Most people would not do that."

"It’s in a lovely part of Rabat. You can walk right out the door and visit many restaurants, shops, the M’dena, and the more! I loved that my room had a lovely little balcony. "Turn right as you step out the door and the ocean is a few hundred meters away. Situated in the middle of Sliema, right along the beautiful promenade, this apartment afforded easy access to everything we needed. Restaurants, bus stops, promenade, park, small markets and, most importantly, real Italian Gelato just steps away. The owners were available to answer questions as needed. We asked for a coffeepot and they were happy to provide the pot and coffee. Airport transportation was booked for us...

"This place is fantastic! If you're over 5'5 watch your head in the basement lol The only thing I thought was funny was we were told to be respectful of neighbours and not make noise... (we're super quiet ppl). Every single morning we were woken up by the neighbours! It sounded like they were standing in our room having a full blown conversation. That was beyond irritating. Loudest women I've ever heard at 7am But we survived and would still go back. "

"The room was immaculately clean apart from a build up of mould on shower door. Views are unparalleled. The property is more faded glory than grand. 1980s high quality was evident but has not aged well. Overall property quality control definitely lacking. V dated decor and furniture that has seen far too many uses for its star rating. Peeling paint on railings, mismatched furniture with water rings, badly sized rug with curling edges, creating a trip hazard and dirty balcony windows are examples of deterioration that could have easy fixes. Guests with mobility issues would struggle. Bath tub ruled out use of the shower. Hand rails in short supply around the property. Fridge and tv did not work. The plug for the tv is a European plug, rather than a three pin British plug. The theme of dated decor extended to the breakfast room/ restaurant. Very 1980s. The breakfast had some problems. I arrived in the restaurant at 1015, having arrived at the hotel at 0400. A very showy look at the watch on the part of the person who seated me almost yielded disappointment as it was evident a “latecomer” was not welcome. I was not aware that there was a buffet as no one bothered to say something like “the buffet is in the next room” and sat for about 5 minutes before being told that I had to rush because the buffet was closing. The hot items were cold. The bacon was sitting on top of bread. As I am gluten free, a normally safe option for me was ruled out. The coffee was distinctly sub par."
