When I arrived, the place had large "CLAUSURADO" signs posted by the authorities. They in fact shut down the place! Can't believe these people are offering reservations while the property is closed. BTW, I did call and knocked on door, to no answer.

The bad: no AC in the room, no elevador for the hotel, no iron for my work shirts, no coffee in the breakfast room, loud doors and other guests woke me up middle of night, no gym. No bar or restaurant at the hotel. The good: very clean room, very close to a neat mall with good food options. Pretty neighborhood.

Staying at The Mark Hotel was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. It’s one of those rare places that immediately makes you feel at home, while still offering the comfort and elegance of a luxury stay. The atmosphere is calm and intimate, with beautiful, well-thought-out design details everywhere you look. My room was both stylish and cozy, with all the little touches that make a big difference — comfortable bedding, soft lighting, and high-quality amenities. What impressed me most was the service. Every member of the team was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It never felt forced — just kind people who clearly care about creating a great guest experience. The location was also perfect: tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but just a short walk from great restaurants, shops, and local spots. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s full of character, charm, and personal touches, look no further.

Ok, so if you're not young and mobile, you need to stay away from this place. The descent to get to the bathroom is hazardous. I can't believe this is even allowed to pass building inspection codes. Aside from the treacherous bathroom access, which would prevent me from ever booking here again, everything else was pretty ok. Not good, not bad, just meh. Oh, and the front entrance is down for some reason, so you have to come if from what appears to be the back entrance and, oh by the way, it's not marked so we ended up walking around the block twice. I wish somebody had left a review with regards to the entrance and the bathrooms so we could have booked somewhere else. We like to try the local boutiques, but this experience has convinced us to return to the safety of the chains.

El hotel tiene una buena ubicación; sin embargo, considero que a la habitación le faltaba bastante iluminación, al menos en la que nos hospedamos (302). No contaba con aire acondicionado, lo cual hizo la estancia menos cómoda. También percibimos poca privacidad, ya que al abrir las ventanas teníamos vista directa hacia la zona de recepción y vigilancia.

El Hotel esta ubicado en area residencia. Muy comodo y agradable. Sin embargo nos asustamos a nuestra llegada, porque la entrada al Hotel tiene unas tablas y letrero que dice CLAUSURADO. Por suerte nuestro conductor llamó y le indicaron que debiamos accesar al Hotel por otra calle, donde tienen una entrada muy discreta. Deberian anunciar en la pagina esta situación.
