Fantastic, authentically Greek hotel! Yes, it could do with some updating in areas but we absolutely loved its charm. We were on the 5th floor at the front and the views were stunning. Staff were very helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range from continental, fruit, pastries to cooked items. Loved every minute, even the ancient lift! Will definitely return!

We found this one by surprise on Hotel.com. We have stayed in other places on the island in the past and have not been pleased with the cleanliness or the condition of the rooms - SO, finding Folies was a wonder. For us the location was good to visit with family. It is interesting near a road, but the noise is cushioned considerably by the lovely gardens around. The staff were fantastic, and helpful. Very clean, friendly staff. A nice small apartment, all we needed. Bit of a remote location - but they do suggest and offer car hire to get to beaches etc. They arranged airport transfer efficiently and offered to call them again if the flight couldn't leave (weather).

Madalena was very lovely and welcoming. We really enjoyed our short stay here and the sunsets are really stunning. The beach is a very short walk away and is well kept. Try one of her ice coffee's!

Nice and spatious flat in the heart of Corfu town. However, it was quite noisy due to being so close to the touristy area and we could also hear a constant noise (some sort of water pump) within the building or nearby. Another thing to note is that there is no regular housekeeping. Upon request, someone did come on the 4th day (we stayed for 8 nights) to change the bedding and towels and take out the trash. Perfect pitstop for a ferry, a bit of a dated layout but the staff massively makes up for it with great interaction with our kids and next time we've got to board from there, we'll definitely stay in this hotel (also great breakfast coffee)

We arrived quite late due to the ferry delay. Even after midnight we contacted for check in for property without issues. Address was wrong but thanks to George that he guided us to the right place in 10 mins. That was the only thing. Location and the view was looking perfect but we had no time to enjoy.

The property was exceptionally clean and the host was always on hand to answer any questions. The location was great to get to different parts of the island but car hire is recommended. The pool was lovely and the host gave us a wonderful breakfast each morning.

Overall it was a good experience. The positives were; a clean, spacious and modern self contained apartment with bathroom and kitchen area. I would probably say though a couple of extra towels may have been good. The host was also a very nice guy, quick to reply to messages, friendly and understanding (I had a late check in due to needing a hospital visit on arrival in Corfu) There are a couple of shops and eateries which are reasonable walking distance.
