Great hotel

Posted 11-Sep-2017
Rough around the edges but overall a great hotel, great food and a great view across the bay to gozo and coming. Recommend going to goto by ferry and getting a tourist bus. Also used orange shark diving located a short distance away and they were great!

Worse all inclusive hotel ever

Posted 22-Aug-2017
Pros: offer us free boat ride to comino island, an extra bonus that was not mentioned.
Cons: The food should have slight varieties daily and better quality. Should not charge additional for sea view room when you could not offer it
Location: It is far from everything if you do not have a car and doesn't have their own beach front. Very convenient to go to comino blue lagoon.
It was a terrible experience! We arrived late as our flight was delayed, given that it is an all inclusive hotel and it is in the middle of no where, they did not take this into account very well for any late arrival customer. All they had was some cold cheese, ham and bread to keep us going on the first night. We paid extra to get sea viewed room and our balcony was 1/3 of the size of the rest and could hardly see the sea, it is more like a pool viewed room yet we are being charged so much more. On top of that, the air condition doesn't work properly as well, and because we had such tiny balcony it makes the room a lot warmer and stuffy. They ended up giving us a fan until they could send someone round to fix it rather than offering to change a room. The alcohol selections were great but some bars run out of beer, which is unacceptable in my opinion. One of the bartender was not very professional and helpful as well. We have been told that we could get 2 drinks per person but one of the bartender refused us on the second night. He was rude and claimed that we could only have 1 drink each and takes him forever to serve. Doesn't have their own beach front area or sandy beach area, so you will have to travel to a different bay or just sunbath at the pool side. All in all, it is not a great experience with this 4 stars hotel and it is not worth the price.

Extreme disappointment

Posted 05-Jul-2017 on Hotels
I would give this stay 0 stars, if possible. The hotel had recently been renovated, so it was very clean and the staff was friendly but the nice things I have to say end there. The recent renovation was actually still ongoing and there were no amenities available. There were no phones or remotes for the TV in the rooms. The spa was not yet opened. There was no wi-fi in the rooms. There were electrical problems mid stay which caused a move of all the guests to another hotel which disrupted the vacation. The hotel should never have been opened in the condition that it was in. I cannot express how disappointed I was in this stay. I do not recommend staying at this hotel until you are sure that it is up and running and that they have fixed their many issues.

Nice hotel right opposite ferry to Comino

Posted 26-Aug-2016
Pros: All-inclusive catering with food and drink continually available.
Cons: The 'accessible' bathroom wasn't, and had a very slippery bath
Location: Right opposite ferry to Comino
Stayed in accessible room with sea view on ground floor, with hired mobility scooter.

Good friendly hotel lovely views

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Staff helpful and polite. Hotel little dated but very clean. Location quiet but town accessible by local bus. Food ok although restaurant slightly chaotic, not well laid out and often short of cutlery and crockery but staff always polite and helpful. Good value for money.

Brilliant views of Comino and Gozo. The speedboat trip to Comino is a must. Lots of lovely places to visit in Gozo. Personal service given by hotel on arrival extremely high standard.

Hotel is within a few metres of a rocky beach.

Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: The quality of food for vegetarians; the variety of food that is available for breakfast and all inclusive should mean all inclusive .
Location: Not a lot except ferry to Gozo and private boat hire.
Not at all satisfied for an all inclusive deal. No kettle in room to make tea or coffee. No bottled water supplied on daily basis except upon arrival. Poor facilities for vegetarians which we are). Hotel staff were excellent. I would not recommend this as an all inclusive deal.
