We used it as somewhere to stay after an afternoon-evening event in Coldstream. Good for overnight stays or a couple of nights if exploring Yara Valley close to Melbourne but don't want the expense of staying in the valley itself. Neat and tidy, excellent value for the area.

Upon check in my family was upgraded from a 3 bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom. It was not an apartment but a massive house! We were amazed at the sheer size and my children had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying our time together. The location is excellent for families and easy to park in. A good choice of restaurants around to dine in or have delivery. The outside could use a freshen up with landscaping and painting. The rooms were modern with all the basic essentials. A hidden delight which we would be happy to stay at again. Thank you to the amazing staff who also made us feel welcome.

Was clean and comfortable. The bed was great and bathroom as updated and nice. Would be better with strip on bottom and around front door to help stop noise and insects coming in. Would like flyscreen on bathroom window so can open to let fresh air in. Prefer proper cutlery like spoon for making tea. For smaller footprint - a small kettle would be sufficient - no one needs to boil 7cups of water. The reception area was a bit messy with cartons of drinks sprawled around. Would be nicer with a bigger tv. But staff was nice enough, though busy.

We had the family apartment which is big enough for us 7 people. Plenty of parking lots. Location is ideal for our travel itinerary. Staff are friendly and easy to communicate with.

Absolute shambles of a check in and experience. Booked well in advance (4 weeks prior to Christmas). Arrived Christmas Day and was told I had no booking. After 30 minutes the guy on the desk discovered I did have a booking but they had moved me to another motel down the road! No tea or coffee facilities nothing. The rooms was nothing what was advertised, a truly terrible and upsetting experience on Christmas Day.

Good sized room and clean presentation! Shower was fantastic and generous! Tea amenities was good but found dishes inconvenient for my take away meal. Bowl or plates for breakfast or dinner would be most helpful. Bed and furniture very comfortable! Carpet was thin and needed to wear shoes/slippers for comfort. I would definitely come again! Nowhere on the website do they say this but the property isn’t really for tourists. It appears to be mainly used as a doss house! State housing overflow. Neighbours making loud telephone calls to Centrelink and people loitering on the balconies do not make it appealing. Booked for two nights only stayed for one.

Good value for money. If you're simply looking for a functional and clean place to stay while in the area then it' ideal. The room was surprisingly roomy and the staff went out of their way to allow us to check in a little early

I loved our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a short stay however the inside does not match the outside. I think some minor renovations to the exterior would completely revolutionise the feel.

The best thing about this property is it allows pets. Externally the property is run down but my room was very clean and had all that I needed. the staff I dealt with were lovely. Overall this is a great budget friendly motel and I would absolutely stay again.

The man who checked up in was lovely. i realized i was rushing and booked for next month and he helped me fix it all up and still had a room for us. Later on we couldn’t get an uber and this legend drove us for free to our friends place. Bill you are a legend and we thank you for your amazing service. we met some beautiful people there. it’s a pet friendly place so you get to see some adorable dogs

Excellent Accommodation
We are always happy to stay here. The rooms are spacious, clean and renovated. I like the hard floors which are much cleaner than carpet. The situation is convenient to the shops and also gives access to the beautiful Lilydale to Warburton Rail trail.

Affordable , clean accommodation. A little dated and at first we couldn’t get hot water but reception sorted that out quickly. Upstairs unit were a bit noisy for our unit below. Convenient to town and for our purposes. Would stay again if needed.
