"Hosts were great - Mubarak was really friendly and informative and gave me a tour of the surrounding area and the dunes. It was easy to sign up for additional tours of the area - many different options available. Breakfast buffet was decent, and dinner was very good and filling."

"Our family of four stayed one brief night in Riad Meknes as a stopover during a drive from Tangier to Merzouga. While we didn’t have too much time in Meknès or the riad itself, we did enjoy both the town and riad. Our room was spacious and we loved the lovely decor throughout the riad and the interesting layout. We had a quick dip in the pool and wished we’d had more time to use the garden courtyard. "According to locals this used to be very good, since Covid it has falling in disrepair. We checking in at night to a dark lobby only reception had light. Our room was moldy around the air conditioner and sink which was also filthy. The toilet seat was not attached and toilet dirty. We didn’t stay and didn’t receive our deposit back. "

"One of our favorite go-to spots off the beaten path in Morocco. This is our second time here and the breakfast balcony view of the birds of the Middle Atlas is one of the best nature experiences you can get in Morocco. Very excellent staff in a very underrated city. Khenifra is a great spot if you don't want the craziness of Marakkech or Fes. We all slept great here and highly recommend it."
