Creek side cottage with awesome porch and fire pit

Creek cottage on Conodoguinet Creek a class 1 stream on the International Whitewater Rating system with private access for kayaks, tubes and canoe - bring your own or rent from us. Convenient to everything but private. Hershey and Carlisle are an easy 20 minute drive. House is located on creek with a septic system so we use environmental safe products and ask guests to conserve water while showering. We have organic apple, peach and pears on the property for guests to enjoy in season. We allow pets with additional fee. The house sits on a Good Hope Road which is a busy route connecting Carlisle Pike and 81. The house is 5 minutes to grocery, drug store, movie theatre, and all major food choices. Creek living with all amenities so convenient does mean you will hear cars passing by when outside. We don’t allow parties and ask that when outside to respect neighbors. Fire pit is available and you can bring your own wood. Fishing is permitted in creek under PA Game and Fish guidelines. Canoe, kayaks and tubes available to rent. For guests staying 5 days they are free to use once liability waiver is signed. The access for pulling trailers is limited to small trailers entering from the carlisle pike road. Sweet spot

Gorgeous little slice of property on the creek. Perfect spot for relaxing in the am with coffee or wine in the pm. Saw deer, ground hogs, egrets and blue herons. Will be back. Very clean and well equipped house.

Perfect spot for day trips near Hershey

I got the place for 3 "older" buddies to go enjoy Green Day at Hershey Stadium. They canceled but we still had fun with hiking, Hershey chocolate tours, car museum, nearby movies and a comedy club. The house was perfect for what we needed - we slept, showered, cooked breakfast and hung out on the porch in the late evening. Beds/pillows were very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Overall great value for the price.

Peaceful Creekside Retreat

This is a beautiful property. I went with my three small kids and we spent most of our time enjoying the creek, where we waded around and went tubing. We also had the pleasure of seeing great blue heron, snowy egrets , and an osprey. The home is spacious and very well maintained with all of the amenities you need. Lynne, the host, was very responsive. It was a very relaxing get away, which was exactly what we needed

Great place to be after a trade show.

We exhibit in the GAOS trade show. This place was perfect to come back to, stretch out, and relax. We are foodies and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. A few more pots/pans/baking dishes would be nice but not necessary to cook. Then furniture was comfortable and well kept. The bedding was plush and very nice. Lots of room and a great experience. Lynne was responsive to all communication and even had someone to scrape and salt the drive after some snow fall. Top shelf all the way.

Nice winter weekend

Despite the not so nice initial impression driving in on the very short steep driveway, this place did not disappoint. Initial impression- it was winter: brown grass, mud, visible mold stains on outside of house. The inside was cute and cozy and was the perfect space for our family and dog. It was too cold to enjoy the porch but that seemed great. Overnight it snowed, how beautiful the property was then! The driveway was a challenge but there was plenty of ice melt available and we needed it to get out! Lynne was an amazing, communicative host offering up many suggestions for our son who will be relocating to the area. We definitely would stay again. I would be curious to know what the property looks like in the spring/summer/fall when it is green.

Cottage on Conodoguinet Creek

My family had the pleasure to stay at this quaint cottage on the creek in Hamden County. The house was immaculate and included 2 coffee makers and Kureig coffee pods to boot! The bedrooms were comfortable with all linens included. There was a washer and dryer which we did not need to use for our visit. The appliances were modern and up to date. The cottage is pet friendly with throws to cover the furniture. There was pet bowls, shampoo, and even a pooper scooper. The creek was about 100-150ft from the cottage. My grandson was endlessly entertained by the crawfish he would catch. The creek was a bit low during our visit so fishing was not very good. We were able to walk out to the center and the water was over the knee. We had a relaxing time. A small dead tree fell onto the property and the owner was there by dinner time to cut it into firewood. Lynne was very nice and couldn’t be more accommodating. Look forward to coming back in the near future
