"We used to live in Fort Collins and I always dreamed of staying just one night in the Armstrong. On our visit this year, we finally did just that and we’re beyond pleased!! Beautiful rooms, fantastic location (didn’t need our car even once during our stay - mind you, we were more than comfortable with walking as far as O’Dell’s and New Belgium. Everything else you need in Old Town is literally steps away) Cannot wait to come back and will 100% stay here every time we visit FoCo!"
"There is nothing for breakfast except for coffee, though check-in tells you it’s from 6-9am. Loads of people sat around waiting for something around 8am. Nothing. No milk, honey, condiments, bagel, definitely no eggs or protein. But even for those that eat a continental breakfast-NOTHING. You pick places and incorporate a breakfast into the price as a savings. Who do I forward my Starbuck’s receipt to for reimbursement? Spend a little extra money w a place that has a yogurt for you in the morning."
"Beds were very hard paying for parking, wifi, and breakfast is ridiculous. Random charges from the hotel after I paid for parking through a 3rd party"
"We understood that the building was very old and were totally fine with that and understood what we may experience due to its age. However, waking up with a mouse turd stuck to my face was not pleasant. The glass table between the two chairs outside was broken and unusable. The two chairs on the porch had cloth seats, not sure why that makes sense as it had rained while we were there, and then we couldn't sit on the chairs cause they were soaked. I didn't feel the description of the place explained that the hot tub was NOT private and sat at the back door of the owner's home. So we were not inclined to use it. Based on the amount we paid, along with what I've listed above, and having to do our own dishes was not received well. We will not recommend this property nor will we return. "
"The location is prime for me when I need to stay away from the crowd. Just recently this property has been remodeled and updated. The rooms are very nice and come with a microwave and an small refrigerator. For the price of the room this is exceptional. The front desk staff and housekeeping are wonderful. The only negative I have to say is that the breakfast can be one note. However, I am very grateful that it is provided. It is "always" delicious and plentiful. It was not always offered. So really breakfast anywhere can be one note. Take that as a grain of salt. I would never hesitate to stay there as it really is a very nice property."
