Expedition Lodge Estes Park

"Terrific location with good facilities. Outdoor deck with fire-pits was great and the s'mores for sale was a lovely touch. The pool area was a little dated. Only 2 of the loungers had cushions. The outdoor area attached to the pool was neglected, overlooking a car park and was uninviting. The bedrooms were clean. Coffee and fresh water were very good and continually available in the lobby which was really appreciated. A great base for touring Rocky Mountain National Park but not a luxury stay in and of itself."
Streamside on Fall River

"Great location by Fall River. Clean and had all the needed bathroom and kitchen supplies. We even saw elk and turkeys onsite in the mornings. It would well for my son and me. He slept on the pullout couch while I had the bedroom."

"The stay was awesome. Loved the room and the staff were very helpful. Only thing is Expedia site stated there was an outdoor pool which is why we booked this particular stay and there was no pool."

"Rooms were clean and worked for what we needed during our stay in Estes. They were dated but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Doors are sliding glass doors which was not expected but again not a deal breaker. We had two rooms and one of the rooms the door was very difficult to slide open but closing was normal & not a challenge. Breakfast was ok, but to be honest we only tried eating it one day. Location was good and was along the river walk as well as free shuttle service within town. Once we parked in the lot after returning from RMNP we were able to walk everywhere though within Estes Park which we really liked."

"I was very impressed with the facility and staff. Check-in was a breeze and Taylor was extremely polite and helpful. Our room was great. We had a two bedroom suite and a pullout sofa bed. My wife and I had a bedroom and my daughter and her two children were in the main room which had the pullout. The outdoor pool was nice since it was pretty warm most days, and the indoor pool and hot tub was great when the temperature dropped. Nightly snores were awesome for the kiddos. Breakfast was always nice and convenient before heading out to RMNP. The location was convenient to downtown as well. We will definitely book this hotel again."

"2nd stay at the Lodge...convenient location to attractions in town and within 10 minute drive of RMNP entrance. Saw a black bear & plenty of dear on the backside of the property. Larger Suites are the way to go."

"If you’re visiting RMNP, I’d most definitely recommend a stay at Hotel Estes. Awesome, friendly staff that are very approachable and helpful. It’s also fairly close to downtown Estes - which is home to a fair bit of amenities and restaurants (EV charging, grocery stores, laundromat). Most importantly, the backdrop. You walk out to the mountains staring you in the face. Gorgeous view!"
