"Room was quite comfortable, useful furniture (desk and lamp, good tv with remote, comfortable king bed. Generally looked very well-maintained, with none of the cracks and flaws I've often seen elsewhere. Staff was very professional and helpful. For example, I needed to leave at 4 a.m. to catch a plane and the night person took me over right on time. It is very convenient to the Arcata/Eureka airport (a 5 minute drive, 15 minute walk - though a staff member warned me about walking at night - "animals!" Convenient to Rte 101."

"From the first communication to the last turn of the lock, this was a great stay. Comfortable space, well laid out, very clean, good ambiance inside and out. Stove keeps the house warm which is a big deal when it’s cool and foggy and we could close off the bedroom so it stayed cool. Lots of windows for light and air when the sun was out. Note that there is a step up into the bathroom. Lots of counter space and hooks for hanging things all through the house. Great shower with excellent water pressure. The owners live on site in an attached house but we never noticed them. We did meet their friendly dog Osho as he made his nightly round. Great privacy with superb communication. Good central location with lots of places to walk, restaurants and grocery within a short drive. Would stay again in a heartbeat."

"My friends found the property to be perfect for them. Three grown senior brothers, each had their own bedroom, only two had to share a bathroom. Even though it wasn't cold, they felt the need to use the heater and it got to their perfect temps quickly. Quiet neighborhood, in an area of McKinleyville that is very central to everything in McKinleyville. They are very happy to have stayed there."
