"Great homebase in Trinidad for our visit to the Redwoods. Walk to shops and restaurants. Trail to beach is steps away (but a steeper climb up to return, so not for those with mobility issues). The house, including both bedrooms, gets very warm during the day, and the only fan we found did not work, so falling asleep was a bit uncomfortable until it cooled off overnight."

"A really cozy and unique setup in a great location with great views of the beach and Pacific. A cozy, clean, warm master cabin overlooking the ocean. The bathroom, sink, coffee station, matched any hotel. Breathtaking views from the deck and comfy Polywood chairs to sink into and soak it all up. Easy access to beach day and night for swimming, walking and tide pool exploring, Easy access to Highway 101 for visiting Trinidad and all the State and National park groves sprinkled across the area. The Airstream has a vintage vibe to it. Be prepared to travel back in time a bit. You’ll want to treat it with care and preserve it for the next guests. The “glamping” vibe provided a nice retreat to relax and it was stocked with necessities I needed like a wine bottle opener player and other utensils. We enjoyed the DVD player!"

"The host was awesome, he suggested my eight year old pick fruit off of the trees in the garden, let us know about the redwoods and gave us some cool places to visit while we were there.The house was cozy, warm and 'felt like home' The garden in the back was beautiful."

"The lodge is lovely and well-appointed. It was very clean. The setting is spectacular, private and yet a short walk to Murphy’s grocery store where you can find anything you need, wonderful local treats, and the best sandwiches! The rest of the town is easily accessible as well. The trail to the beach is a wonderful bonus, where we saw seals, gulls, oystercatchers and other seabirds, starfish, anemones, pelicans and more! The many decks, including a decked walkway into the ravine with sitting areas provided wonderful opportunities to enjoy the spectacular outdoors. Our group of 8 enjoyed the property for a long wedding weekend."
