"The house was just as described. It was the perfect peaceful little getaway. We enjoyed ping pong and foosball in the hangout, fishing on the lake and just the quietness of the front porch. It’s close to town but far enough to have have the city noise. Great place!"

"Location was perfect for an event at the Walnut Hill Estates. Very family friendly, host provided all the comforts of home! House is nicely decorated with newer fixtures, good kitchen layout and a backyard space for cooking and gathering friends.I would book again!"

"This treasured family cottage has a relaxing view of the Mississippi river. It's peaceful and well stocked with games for fun, has WiFi and satellite tv. The hosting family is attentive and kind. The birding nearby is stellar. We had a fantastic weekend."

"Upon arrival the property side did not appear very inviting. The area seemed pretty sketchy with a bar on site and some rowdy people outside. As a female, I would not of wanted to stay by myself.However, it was after dark. First impression of the room was dark and dreary. Not updated and very old. But on the positive side, the room was very clean. The air worked great. Bathroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! We were also surprised to come back to the room with our bed made and clean towels! Rates were as expected. Being a small town venue, I think they do a great job!"
