Caribou Lodge by Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls

Welcome to Caribou Lodge, your home base for exploring Hocking Hills. This thoughtfully designed lodge features three private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus an extra half bath, making it easy for families or small groups to relax and spread out. Upstairs, the second-floor deck is set up for both comfort and connection, with plenty of seating, a grill for casual cookouts, and an outdoor TV for unwinding in the fresh air. Down below, the entry-level deck is where you'll find the six-person hot tub, tucked into the trees for a peaceful soak. Inside, you'll find a full kitchen, a cozy living room with a large picture window, and a custom stone fireplace that adds just the right amount of warmth after a day of hiking or exploring. The game room includes a poker table for those friendly evening matchups, and the outdoor firepit is the perfect place to wind down, whether it's for quiet conversation or a few shared laughs under the stars. Caribou Lodge offers a relaxed, comfortable setting to make lasting memories in one of Ohio's most scenic spots.

Caribou Lodge is an off-property lodge in Creola, just 10 minutes from Ash Cave. Located in the southern portion of the Hocking Hills Caribou Lodge provides convenient access to area attractions with most trails only 10-25 minutes by car. Just 15 minutes from The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, including Kindred Spirits restaurant, the spa and gift shop.

Fabulous space

The home is perfect clean and well maintenance. Spacious for a group of friends. The 3 levels are perfect to give you enough space to spread out. The kitchen is just the right size and the fire pit is in a percent location! I would definitely come back.

Caribou cabin was beautiful ....clean, well stocked, comfortable! It is impeccably decorated! Having seperate bathrooms for each couple is a plus!! The wifi is sketchy, but once we found the correct log in (on paper on the downstairs bar, not the one included in check in email!!!) we were able to play music. The gps will take you past the driveway to a dead end..in the dark its almost impossible to find...a bigger sign would help. We would stay here again! Had a comfortable stay!

Relaxing vacation

We had 5 adults and a dog in our group. We all enjoyed the stay. It was a little hard to find at first. Some signs on the road would help as GPS took us past the location at first. Some additional seating in the living room would also be nice, but we made it work. Overall, it was a very clean property with lots of amenities that we enjoyed. The fire pit and hot tub were nice and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked as well. There was some construction going on on the neighboring property, but overall it was still a very peaceful visit.

Hocking Hills Holiday Weekend

A group of us stayed over New Years Weekend in Hocking Hills at this property. It was great space for three couples, and loved that a four legged friend could join us. Overall, the property is new, well maintained, and clean and the property managers were incredibly responsive. We would stay again and/or recommend to friends. Three minor opportunities to make it perfect: add an additional lounge chair/furniture in the living room instead of the credenza to allow for groups to sit comfortably, be more transparent on the spotiness of the wifi (not normally an issue for a weekend getaway, but members of the party were trying to wrap up some year-end work and were met with big challenges), and look into ways to better regulate the temperature in the house. The thermostat is on the middle, and warmest, floor, so kicks off frequently. This leaves the 1st and 3rd floors very cool in the winter.

Lovely place!

The lodge was very clean and had a lot of amenities. We cooked several meals and had enough kitchen supplies for everything. The bottom floor is very cold, so bring a sweatshirt if you’re staying down there! My family had a blast, thank you for such nice accommodations!

Girls weekend away!

Fantastic Caribou Lodge - Hocking Hills

This is a fantastic Lodge. We hiked all over in Hocking Hills during the day and packed our lunch and came back for dinner, a fire at the firepit, and hot tub time. One suggestion, don't think you have missed the Lodge when you turn on Faris Road. When Faris Road splits, go right and take the very next right to get to Caribou Lodge! Loved our stay, very peaceful!
