"Wow, what else can I say. Looked great online but the promo did not do it justice. We gave it a try because it looked comfy and was close to the Gouffre de Padirac, but we would go out of our way to stay there again even without the visiting the Gouffre again (which we would probably do anyway) ! We had not planned on the breakfast but SO GLAD we did, an amazing basket of fresh baked breakfast goods, juice, coffee and artisinal jam."

" Monique is a superb host and very helpful. The property has everything you could need in a small apartment. Everything was clean. The addition of an outside sitting area, free WiFi and parking made our stay special. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day - also included. The kitchen was amazingly well equipped - enough cooking and baking equipment do make almost anything. Exceptional value for money and very comfortable space. We will no doubt be back in future. "

"Great location and a really lovely hotel. We stayed in Room 16, which overlooks the courtyard and has a beautiful view of the Citadel of Rocamadour, especially at night when it’s all lit up. "This is beautiful and quirky hotel in an old part of the town centre of Souillac. Owners appeared to be welcoming and charismatic. Lady owner communicates in English if struggling to speak in French. Rooms presented to be very nice and clean, while beds very comfortable. Bathroom appeared to be clean but would benefit from a little renovation. There is shower in the bathtub but no rail to attach it, which was a little bit inconvenient. There is cafe and dinning room downstairs, which seems to attract a lot of locals. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, though I would personally rather have something to eat elsewhere. Hygiene standards in the dinning room are not what I am used to, and are somehow low."

Nous avons en effet été témoins de certains problèmes rapportés dans d'autres commentaires comme la prise qui se détache. La chambre était petite, mais propre et les lits confortables. La dame au comptoir était charmante et vraiment aidante. Le sentiment est celui d'un village vacances qui souffre d'un certain vieillissement, mais notre expérience a été très bonne. "Very friendly and helpful staff at front desk. Very convenient location right at the bridge to get into the downtown core. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and AC in room were very much appreciated due to the heat wave! The buffet breakfast was excellent."

"I arrived on Thursday, June 18th (4ish pm) After a long walk from the train station (apparently public transportation is very scarce in Rocamadour) to the hotel, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We stumbled through our language barrier (she was very patient with me) and I was checked in and on my way. Before I went to my room, I asked if she would schedule a taxi for me back to the train station on by departure day. She was very accomodating. Better yet, the taxi showed up. It's a great hotel, very clean and spacious room. The bathroom was large compared to those in Europe. No air conditioning, which I knew booking, but a fan is provided and keeps the room comfortable. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Sanctuary. If you are taking the train to Rocamadour....do yourself a huge favor and pre-book transportation to town. You'll thank yourself!!"
