"The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"The whole experience from check in to final departure was excellent. The hotel had lots of modern touches throughout. The public areas were fresh and clean, the bedroom was roomy and an added bonus we weren't expecting was air conditioning (especially as we were there in the middle of a heat wave). Not impressed, don't expect too much
"We didn't expect too much. We arrived decently late and tried to call multiple times to check how late we could check in, the first 2x the phone was not answered. We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. The room smelled a bit of cigarettes and had to be aired out. The layout was complicated with steps right after the door and a seperate toilet which as so small that we barely fit and had problems closing the door, because our legs were too long. The breakfast was ok but some things had run low or out and while we were eating it was not refilled and other used tables had not been cleared"
