"The booking was a gift for our sister's honeymoon so we had high expectations as we booked the ocean view room. They didn't receive an ocean front room and the front desk staff were not helpful to correct the issue. Expedia worked on our behalf but the hotel wouldn't help and there was no communication from them when we reached out. As for the housekeeping staff and the cleanliness, it was 5 stars. The amenities that were used: pool side and gym were 5 star. The location was fantastic and the couple said they would stay there again."

"Overall a good property for families with kids. The lagoon needs better maintenance and uplifting. "

"The room was clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The valet staff was extremely helpful with resetting the navigation on the rental car. The Spa was amazing with excellent views of the ocean. Loved that we were able to get beach chairs and towels from the hotel. I only wish that the waterfall feature in the main entry way was working while we were visiting. "

"I am born and raised in Honolulu and retired abroad so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed staying at the Pagoda Hotel. The location is so convenient that I didn’t need a car and walked everywhere and rented a Biki Bike just outside the hotel when I need to go a bit further away. The room was spacious and clean and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was excellent and the service was quick and friendly. I previously stayed at more expensive hotels and didn’t enjoy myself like I did at the Pagoda Hotel, definitely will stay here again."

"Location was convenient to location we needed, but the room smelt horrible & there were only 2 towel sets for a party of 3. I would not recommend this space. The building it’s located in looks great from the exterior."

"I had two separate 1 day reservation (not by choice) which would have made us move rooms. I tried online to have them combined but was told is was not possible. The check in person was able to do it when we arrived which saved us a ton of trouble because the next day we were leaving on a tour that was going to last 8 hours making the luggage situation a problem. That saved us a lot of stress, not what you need on vacation. "

"Location of hotel is close to essential stores like Target, Walmart, shopping mall, and restaurants. There is shuttle service to the beach which is not too far away. If you are looking for a hotel that is a few steps to the beach, this is not the place for you. Hotel during our stay was under staffed. Waited a long time to check in because there was only 1 person at the counter during the entire time we were there. Room service was inconsistent. Our room was not cleaned everyday. There is also an additional $50 for resort fees that will be added as well as $59 for parking so keep that in mind if you are planning."
