This is a grand hotel,that was completely redone,and reopened 1 year ago,following the Maui fire. So far, the town around it is not rebuilt,so it's a true oasis. Amazing ocean view.

The room and property were nice, except for the gaint cockroaches (2 inches long) we kill in the kitchen. Now my wife is worried that we will be bringing something home in our luggage. I guess they are kinda common in Hawaii, just unexpected for the money your paying.

Check in not until 4pm. Quite late after a long day. No late checkout past 12pm. Very run down rooms that are tiny. They’re clean but really expensive for what you get.

"It works as a motel, room is fine, pool changes code daily and you got ask reception during working hours, check in has a code but they close 6pm and you must come personally to reception, during checkout reception asked us to call someone to inform that we leaving, parking has very specific spots ..."
