"As soon as you enter the property you noticed how well maintained it is and how wonderful the staff is, welcoming and informative! I loved the thoughtful bowl of orchids with bobby pins for your hair! We had a suite for the three of us and it was very spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. There are great food options right on the property and the beach is right across the street with bicycles you can use. I would recommend the Maui Coast Hotel as a very pleasurable place to stay."

"This was a modern clean and comfortable room. This had air conditioning which was nice to have. It also had a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. The B units do not have a beach view however the property was located on a very nice beach and also had a nice pool. On the property was a small store and an equipment rental for the beach and ocean. "I booked an ocean-view unit, but upon arrival, the host/property manager assigned me a garden-view unit with ongoing construction nearby instead. The unit was filthy, the AC barely blew cool air, and one of the double beds was broken. To make matters worse, the AC unit was extremely loud and constantly turned on and off throughout the night, making it very difficult to get any decent sleep. Unfortunately, this completely ruined my vacation experience. I contacted both Hotels.com and the property management company multiple times, but neither addressed the issues or offered to move us to another unit. I have been a long-time Hotels.com customer, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a vacation booking."

"This is an older but clean property. While it could benefit from some updating, it is well kept. It reminded me of the 1980s in many ways, but that also reflects the reasonable cost. Easy access to the beach. Near many great facilities and quiet. The staff including front desk, cleaning crew, and grounds people were nice."

"This unit D211 is in a quiet location in a beautifully landscaped property, clean and comfortable for a family. Kitchen was well stocked including some spices, oils, condiments. Upstairs bathroom was very spacious and updated. Beds were very comfortable however sleeping on the hide-a-bed in the living room was not comfortable. There were several beach chairs, umbrellas and other beach supplies which came in very handy. We really enjoyed staying at the Maui Kamaole again!"
