"From the moment I stepped into the property, I was immediately captivated by the beauty and elegance of this resort. Even the best photos I’ve taken can’t quite capture the true essence of this relaxing place! The place is exceptionally clean; the housekeeper cleaned my room even twice a day without ever interrupting me while I was in the room—I have no idea how they manage that! Everyone, from the receptionist to all the other staff members, was smiling. The 8th-floor lounge was something I didn’t expect; there was practically something to eat and drink for free (included in the room) from 6 AM to 7 PM! I could have had healthy and unhealthy meals or snacks, whatever I liked! The pools with ocean right there, swim-up bar, 24 hour store on site in addition to multiple restaurants in the resort, even a simple walk around the 4-acre area filled with flowers, trees, and a waterfall, were safe and so relaxing at night! There was a water machine for free all over the resort. That was my first perfect experience in Hawaii. I wish I could go back there soon!"

"Diane’s unit at Shores of Maui was amazing. I like to cook and bake a lot of my meals, she had tons of kitchen supplies to cook and bake with. This unit is perfect location too, right by the ocean. I grew up coming here and the property was in perfect shape and very well taken care of."

"This was a fabulous property. The owner spoke with us personally before the stay, so going in we felt prepared and at home when we arrived. He was able to accommodate our early check in request and also sent a welcome text or two during the stay to make sure all was well. The check in/out was much easier than other properties. I wish other VRBOs would follow his streamlined protocol. We had everything we could possibly need -and more. Even during unseasonable heat/humidity, the unit stayed cool and quiet. The bed and linens were fine hotel quality and superior to most other short term rentals. The views from both sides of the unit were breathtaking and the windows blocked the street noise below. There was a fabulous takeout breakfast and sandwich shop on the ground level of the building, so we ate on the balcony each day and watched some very competative volleyball going on in the park across the street. Although it was just two of us, I could see a couple and a few kids enjoying all the outdoor equipment that came with the unit. One of Maui's most famous food pods was a few steps away."

"The house is spacious and comfortable in every way. There were 7 of us on this trip and there was plenty of room to both congregate and to retreat to a quiet space. We got a kick out of the chickens on the roof one morning. The beach and beach park are a couple of blocks away. We can recommend Miso Phat, down Kihei Road toward Wailea. Try the TNT roll for the amazing ahi."
