Situated just 700m from the village of Torca, you’ll be in prime position for exploring the landscape of the southern side of the Sorrento peninsula on foot along the circular Sentiero delle Sirenuse, which passes close to the villa.With a wonderful private garden that plunges you straight into the vivid blues and greens of this favourite stretch of Italian coastline, you may be reluctant to spend time inside. Directly outside the villa, alfresco dining takes on a whole new meaning on the covered sea-view terrace, where a fabulous tiled outdoor kitchen with barbecue, sink and hob takes the heat out of self-catering. Several shady lawns and terraces, one with a jacuzzi and sunloungers, provide welcome spaces to soak up the sunshine and the view. Access to the laundry room is from the terrace.Extending over 120m², the interior of the villa is extremely comfortable for a family of four and, with each bedroom on a separate floor, also a good choice for two couples looking for additional privacy. The villa is attractively furnished, with terracotta flooring, original stone walls and a ground floor that comprises a living room and dining room. From the dining room, a door leads out to the terrace, and an archway leads to the traditionally tiled kitchen. The ground floor also features a guest bathroom.An internal staircase (17 steps) leads from the ground floor to the first floor and to the first bedroom and bathroom. Maria was especially great. We had an airline issue and she came to help us reach by phone a an English speaker. She met us at the neighborhood church to lead us to our parking spot and drove our luggage and us up to the house when we arrived. And took our luggage and us back when we had to leave. We did the cooking class at the Villa with Chef Anna and her husband - that was a highlight! Also the hike right outside the door is lovely! Only suggestion I would have is do your grocery shopping before you arrive (a good grocery in St. Agata about 2k from the house.) that way you don’t have to carry from the parking area. Die Lage am Rande des Dorfs umgeben von Oliven- und Zitronenbäumen ist traumhaft und sehr ruhig. Maria ist sehr fürsorglich und bietet auch wertvolle Tips. Das Steinhaus ist aussen wie innen sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Kinder haben den Whirlpool mit Blick auf Meer geliebt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen. Man kann mit dem Auto auf Grund der schmalen Straßen nicht bis zur Unterkunft fahren, sondern muss ein paar Minuten zu Fluss gehen. Uns hat das nicht gestört, wir haben den Weg sehr genossen. She arranged parking for our vehicle and escorted us with our belongings directly to the property. The photos represented the property well and carried all the amenities we needed for our few days. The location held beautiful views & a peaceful setting. The beds were very comfortable allowing us very peaceful rests.
