"This was a perfect spot secluded, quiet, close to the town of Franklin. Such a beautiful area. Gorgeous views.Plenty of room. The house felt "homey". Bedroom loft is great. Bed is comfortable and it just felt like a peaceful space. Has just about everything you could possibly need for a stay. I really appreciated that. Just a heads up if you like to do a lot of cooking, the kitchen area is pretty tight but does have all the essentials. Not sure if there is a broiler pan. We meant to look but ended up using the grill. The guest is required to completely dispose of all their trash meaning take it to the dump yourself. There is a shed to keep your trash inside but no trash bin to contain your bags of trash. This info is not disclosed in the listing. The only thing regarding trash in the listing is "take out trash" so no specifics about renter having to drive to the dump 15 min away. I'd just like to make renters aware of that because it truly caught me but surprise. I probably still would have rented but I would have preferred to know ahead of time. I love that the porch is safe for dogs. There is a gate you can lock. Just an FYI, the grill area does not have an awning or covering and ladies, there is no full length mirror in the house. The host was very responsive when I reached out to make her aware of something upon arrival. Overall it was a nice stay. Some hikes close. More hikes and waterfalls about an hr away. Plenty to do within an hour or so but also stuff to do in town."

"Our little family loved our stay!!! We specifically came for the pool and scenery, and it did not disappoint!! Even with the rain, we swam every day, sometimes multiple times a day. It was a nice surprise to see a diving board. Great amenities, including grill. We had a nice time visiting nearby farmers market and BBQ joint. Very clean and spacious inside. We live in a surveillance world so no surprise there are cameras, but I think that should be listed in the details and it wasn't. Glenda was super responsive when we had questions. We would love to come back!! Thanks for the great vacation!"

"Lovely small house in the mountains, on top of a hill. We came to stargaze (Perseid meteor shower) and once the constellation rotated above the treeline, we were not disappointed.We were looking up in the dark, and it wasn't really 'til checkout that I noticed the great daytime mountain view from the front porch. Wonderful!Nicely-equipped kitchen, modern appliances. There was an air fryer when we came; didn't see that pictured.Starlink Internet was fine. Attended a Zoom club meeting while there: no trouble. Cell service is not great, neither is GPS quality (in a valley on the way): Recommend you print the last leg of your driving map to make sure you have it. WiFi calling let our phones connect once we were at the property.Know that there's a very long gravel drive, and it goes uphill. Consider whether your vehicle will manage it (my 2WD Tacoma did fine. Wouldn't bring a Lowrider or a Ferrari.).Our host was kind, rapidly responsive, right on top of everything. Great stay, fantastic getaway from the city."

"We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the cabin. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kitchen was well equipped, the amenities were thoughtful, and it was clear that the owners take great care of the property. The location was peaceful and convenient for exploring the Franklin area, while still feeling tucked away in the mountains. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Incredible secluded mountaintop Home, incredible 180 degree views, (in Summer).The size of the 2 rooms were like individual suites, both with large beds and panoramic Mountain views. The size of the Home and Property Way exceeded our expectations.Property well located with quick drives to Franklin, Bryson City, Dillsboro, and Nantahala river. Very serene and peaceful property, we do not remember seeing or hearing vehicles, planes, etc.Modern amenities there when you need them and plenty of room to relax and stretch out.Would recommend to all Couples and small Families looking for a true Getaway from the City life."
