"The staff at Island Magic Resort are absolutely phenomenal! The food is great, the drinks are great, the location is great, the rooms are clean with hot water, AC, and a turbo ceiling fan (at least in my room- which was amazing!). Spent many enjoyable moments in the swings and on the pier at Island Magic Resort! Absolutely wonderful! I was super sad to leave (currently sitting at the airport)."

"We had originally booked a 3-night stay and needed to change our dates. We arranged the change by email with the hotel manager, who confirmed in writing that everything was updated. However, upon arrival, we were told that the reservation had never been changed and that there was no availability for our third night. We showed the written confirmation to the manager on site, but he explained that the employee who had confirmed the change was no longer working there and that the hotel would not honor the agreement. As a result, we only had accommodation for two nights and had to find another hotel at the last minute. We requested a refund for the third night, but it was denied. This happened in late January, and I am still waiting for reimbursement while Expedia and the hotel continue to pass the responsibility back and forth. There were also other issues. A karaoke bar located next to the hotel was extremely noisy and made it difficult to sleep before midnight. In addition, the photos are misleading, as they suggest amenities such as a pool are on-site when they are actually located elsewhere. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel."

"Very clean inside the property and room, very peaceful and quiet. Millie was very accommodating. These are great cabanas, the outside area of the property is a little sketchy but it is quiet. The only bad comment I have is that I forgot some personal items and it’s totally my fault and when I emailed them the next day, they stated they have already been thrown away. An email from them letting me know I forgot them would have been nice. One items is needed for health reasons so I really needed to take it daily. This property has about 6 cabanas total so it’s quiet which makes it nice."
