The property was amazing but if you’re staying to be close to downtown this property is 20 mins away by car. "I had been looking at several villas in the area, but when I saw this one, I knew it was the one I wanted, however in the Vrbo brochure it says it is a short walk to the church, but it is a 15 minute drive, apart from that it looked good. On arrival I was greeted by Salvo who was lovely, his English was not great, but I am trying to learn Italian so it was good practice for me. The villa was even better than it looked. A good size pool along with excellent accommodation, and plenty of Bathrooms and outdoor seating with great views. The sunrises and sunsets were also incredible and I can honestly say that this was the best villa I have rented. Very tranquil but only 5 minutes drive from a beach. I would highly recommend this place as a base to explore Ragusa, Siracusa and the surrounding area and to visit ispica and Bruno and Carmens American bar."
