"Lovely modern spacious apartment in nice location about 20 minutes walk down to nearest beach and Ilfracombe centre. Swimming pool on park and sauna. Kids loved playing badminton and ping pong in the evening and going in play centre Loved my daily morning walks down to Widdersmouth beach with our dog and up the coastal path at the side the side of it lively cliff top views from top. "This is a holiday camp and as such the accommodation is fairly basic. There was plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was good as well. The whole place was a bit tired and there were one or two missing items (an oven but no oven gloves, no wash cloth or tea towels for example) but overall worth the price. Ilfracombe is very hilly and this is near the top of the town so not ideal if you have mobility issues. We did not use the camp's facilities (pool, bar etc) so...

"It didn't start of well when we were told we could check in at 16:00 and then the room wasn't ready and we waited for an hour before we could get in, not what we wanted especially with 2 young grandkids. After that it was great, evening entertainment great. Bar food great, all in all the grandkids had a fantastic experience which in turn gave us a great time seeing the fun they were having.
