We didn't actually stay ay this Riad because when we arrived we were told they were fully booked and we had to move to another which was a 20 min walk away. After a 4hr flight this was not ideal through the tiny cobbled streets. When we arrived at the next one on Rue Jbel Lakhdar we were also told they were fully booked. After arguing and phone calls to the original Riad we were miraculously given a room at the very top of the building which was extremely sparce of comfort apart from a bed. NOT HAPPY!

Considering Expedia had actually never confirmed my booking with the riad but had confirmed with ourselves ALSO Expedia did nothing to correct this issue the day prior to our departure. We managed to contact the riad directly to be told they had no room available - but did place us in another riad for 4 nights then we transferred ourselves to el wiem. By this time I’d had enough so checked out & booked a hotel outside the medina.

Hidden oasis

Perfect hidden oasis in the middle of the chaos of Marrakesh Medina. The best choice anyone could make and a great value too! Strongly recommend. It is exactly like the pictures and the owners are very helpful. Remember, you are in the middle of the the Medina area; but here is sanctuary.
