I don't normally leave reviews but feel compelled to do so for this property, as my two-night stay there could not have been more enjoyable. When I arrived, the owner, Laurence, and her staff greeted me warmly and took time to show me around the seven-bedroom riad (guesthouse). She explained that she and her husband had purchased it 12 years ago and had completely renovated it. Pictures do not do their renovation justice, as every room, including the lobby, is beautifully decorated and was immaculately cleaned. Throughout the riad, as well as on the rooftop, there are many sitting areas full of comfortable chairs, sofas, or lounges for relaxing either in or out of the sunshine. The rooftop area also contains a hot tub and a massage room. I felt like I was in staying in a spa.
Additionally, the staff prepares a delicious breakfast in the morning and you can also have a sumptious dinner for a very reasonable price. The first night I had dinner on the rooftop and it was such a beautiful experience.
Laurence and her staff work extremely hard to please their guests and will make suggestions about local sights to see and are also able to accomodate requests, such as arranging a pickup from the airport.
I could not possibly have been any happier with the time I spent there and did not want to leave. It was perfect in every way.
