The place was perfect for what we needed. We only stayed one night. The room was exceptionally clean. There were eating options close by and the young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful.
We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The hotel was in a convenient location. I would definitely stay here again if we were in town.
This place it so nice. Friendly staff and clean handicap room. Our only problem was the beds are so low to the ground, like a platform bed, it was so hard for my handicap husband to get out of.
Full size coffee pot👍 the whole hotel lost power in the morning, not great, but we managed. No breakfast, but this was known ahead of time. Good location.
Big room with everything you need! We were very impressed with the low price for such a great room with a sink, stove top, coffee maker, microwave, full size refrigerator and even a toaster! Very clean and the staff were all so nice. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a perfect place to stay with an infant and toddler. We had extra space and made good use of the full sized fridge and freezer. It was our first time staying at My Place and we will definitely look for these in the future.
This is really an extended-stay hotel but I was only there for a couple nights. My room was clean and comfortable and everything looked new-ish and modern. I did notice some TV noise coming through the wall from the adjacent room but it wasn't enough to keep me awake.
I appreciated the microwave and refrigerator, but beware that the kitchenette is completely bare in terms of dishes or utensils, not even a plastic spoon/fork/knife set included.
2nd stay and had another great experience! Friendly staff, coffee available in lobby 24/7, great water pressure in the showers, coin laundry available and laundry room is clean, as is the rest of the property. We brought two pans for cooking this time along with basic dinnerware / utensils and made great use of the kitchen! (FYI-Cookware and dinnerware are not provided.) Looking forward to staying again when we’re back in the area!

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The room had a terrible odor. When asked to correct it the staff just sprayed air freshener in the room. The kitchen area didn’t have any utensils pots pans dishes, cups nothing. The phone in the room didn’t work and when we called maintenance, they came in. They said we can’t get it to work and left it at that. They didn’t offer daily cleaning of the room or every other day cleaning of the room. They said you have to be there a minimum of four days before the room is cleaned. Our dirty towels had to be piled up in the corner of the bathroom because nobody came to pick them up. The refrigerator had to be unplugged every night that we were there due to the loud clanking of the sounds coming from the refrigerator. The hotel location was ideal and they had good coffee.
Everything was great except when you book a room with a kitchen-you are expecting to get dishes, silverware etc. If not, it should at least mention that on the website.
The best thing I can say about the property is that I was able to use the printer for free. We also liked the full size refrigerator in the room. Otherwise, it was not very good. Dated, extremely loud, people awake partying and banging on our doors and next door all night. Screaming down the hallway all day. There was a 2 burner stovetop in the room but not a single pot, pan, bowl, or spoon available so if you plan to cook bring your whole kitchen with you. We were curious about the “breakfast in bed” option, which almost seemed like a ridiculous possibility. We were told by the staff member at the desk that no one ever orders it, we were “too late” to order for the next day, and when we posed hypothetical future orders we were told that the main dish was a pop tart because they were out of everything else. No fresh towel service for a multiple night stay. At checkout I asked for a receipt and was told no.
My room was clean, quiet and wonderful! The desk clerk was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Marquette. Awesome place!
