"I booked this hotel because I was led to believe it held a 4 star rating. Initially the hotel appeared good, good location, good check in, good parking, helpful and attentive staff etc however the room was not. The beds were clean and ok (plenty of available pillows but the room was dated and felt grubby. The windows were the old secondary glazing which had condensation on the inside (unfortunately not the best for an asthma sufferer). The bathroom was very poor, an old shower curtain, the grouting was black in places, the bath was stained, as for the toilet it had black water marks as though it hadn’t been cleaned. Although I used it I did not feel clean. Unfortunately I will not be using this hotel again. "

"We only ate the evening before our flight and it was OK we had to rise early to move the car as they said they were fully booked due to Crufts Dog Show. "

"Brief and comfortable stay"

"Everything was brilliant apart from 2 things. Unfortunately those things mean we don’t get a proper nights sleep. 1: the shower suddenly started to drip in the middle of the night, not once but twice. Both times lasting around 5 mins. The second time I would not stop and I had to turn the shower on for a few seconds and off again to make it stop. 2. There was a flash and small blip from the fire alarm. Again, this happened more than once through the night. Everything else was good (save a slow check in but they were busy) and if not for these issues it would be 5 stars. However, such a disturbed sleep made the stay somewhere I am dubious to return to. "

"Room was clean & we had a superior room so mini bar and robes was included. Reception staff could have made us aware that the guest entrance to the spa was not open so that we wasn’t walking around public areas in our robes, & then we were told the spa was full even though we had checked before leaving our room. Spa was lovely once inside relaxing and staff were friendly. Casino had a great atmosphere as did the high line bar . "

"The staff were very helpful & informative. The breakfast buffet could have more items however it was still decent. For breakfast, we were offered vegetarian sausages seperately as the buffet did not have any vegetarian sausages. That was very thoughtful of the staff. The room had everything we required, a hairdryer, a fridge (requested earlier), a fan & were able to adjust the heating in the room. The spa facilities were nice & clean."
