"I agree with other reviews. Lovely smart hotel with very attentive staff, in a great location, with a shopping mall (Queens) and eateries close by in World Porters. The rooms are very large, as was the double bed (English super king size), comfortable beds but pillows too soft. Rooms are dated but it doesn’t spoil anything. Would stay again. There’s also a subway in Queens shopping mall with connections to Tokyo and Shin Yokohama stations."

"I had an excellent short stay of 2 nights! When I checked in, the staff offered me a map of Yokohama and circled some points of potential interest. My room was super comfortable and there were all the typical amenities available (hairdryer, toothbrushes, one-size-fits-all nightgowns, etc.). The area was very convenient, just a quick walk from Yokohama Station, and had a lot of shops and restaurants (including a Don Quijote!) nearby but was removed enough that it wasn’t noisy at all at night even on a holiday weekend. I hope I’ll have another chance to visit Yokohama so that I can stay here again."

"I stayed in a double room and a single room .For the price it is okay-storage for luggage is under the bed.I find the bathroom very small as a 5’8 when sitting my knees nearly touch the door.Overall I found the single room to be slightly more spacier overall.Would stay here again because of the easy check in and out process.Especially the express check out which was very convenient for catching 5am trains to Narita airport.No complications."

"This is one of the best properties I've stayed in across my travels! I was in Yokohama for a conference and required a comfortable space with good amenities, and The Splaisir hit all the marks. The hotel is a quick walk across a pedestrian bridge to the Yokohama Station, and the neighborhood has several dining and shopping options. The room I booked was fairly large and had a combo washer/dryer, kitchenette, and lots of storage. I have stayed at four- and five-star hotels before and I'd be hard-pressed to recall one that matched the cleanliness of The Splaisir. I also appreciated that the City Bakery on the lobby level had good coffee and excellent baked goods (try the pretzel croissant!), and I relied on it on most days for my breakfast. If I'm ever back in Yokohama, I will not even bother looking for another hotel - I will head straight for Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir!"
