"This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. It’s in “themiddleofnowhere” 1 1/2 mi down a sand rd off the main hwy in Landers. Here the desert is gridded with these rds, some more passable than others. Back in the day this was a homesteaded area where you got 5 acres and required to build a dwelling at least 400sq ft. This was one of those, I think. The outside looks a bit weather worn but the inside is as cute and functional as can be with everything you need. Know that it def is not the Ritz but absolutely the best if you’re looking for quiet, secluded solitude w/ all the amenities (good wifi, Sat TV, nicely stocked kitchen & bath) The owner was friendly and great at communicating every bit of info you could need. I think this place was the best part of my stay. Exploring JT National park and the whole area was wonderful but returning to our cabin to sit outside with a coffee or beer to listen to the wind and watch the sunset was like “Ahhhhhh..”"
