Nine palms is a 1940s cabin style Motel, brightly colored and funky. We enjoyed the privacy and the view of the little town of 29 Palms from the top of the hill. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and it’s within 5 minutes to one of the 3 entrances to Joshua Tree national Park. We even ended up staying a second night!

This motel uses bright colours to light the custom up in a desert town. It is not the best one, but unique one. I stayed in room 18 with a separate dinner room. I like my stay. Also thanks the staff for making everything convenient and replying to my questions at late night.

The place is meant to be like camping. It’s perfect for sleeping overnight after hiking if you don’t want to camp. The bed is clean and window ac works. You are paying the right price for what you need. It’s not clean but it was okay. It’s colorful and fun. Desert vibes. 🌵 I am glad it’s there for what I needed.

there is a beautiful view and the place is funky and fun and I felt very safe - plus, the guy at the desk was very kind and welcoming. However, the place was not very clean and the shower was not working great. It is a deal and worth a stay but the price is low for a reason.

Great Motel

Really nice big room with all the amenities you will need for a short motel stay. Much better than the Motel 6 up the road. Friendly staff.
