"Convenient location for both shops and pier. Prime location for the promenade. I was fortunate to be given a room id requested, very spacious, lovely seaview, with a bath, albeit smallish, it was quite adequate. Bed was a little hard for myself but thats an individual taste, just bear in mind its two singles together, so you do feel the join in the middle. Nice to have seperate seating aswell. Found the staff very friendly. Breakfast was cereals, toast, fruit, yogurts and a choice of cooked eggs, made for ideal start to the day. I found the Iris hotel goid value for money"

"Delightful stay in the guest house on property. Wonderful groundskeeping overlooking the water. Several delightful rooms to tarry whilst reading or having a beverage including the main library with a very nice fire on a windy, chilly night. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. If ever in the area again, will definitely stay there."
